Sky City is one of the most elegant restaurants in Seattle. Its iconic and grand. Dinner  here is a great way to spend an intimate evening- Valentine’s day or your anniversary.

The atmosphere is unbeatable. Amazing collection of wines, from local and international vineyards impress you. They had a very talented pianist every time we visited, who set the mood right. Casual, spirited and romantic.

As the whole restaurant revolves ever so gently, every frame reveals breathtaking panoramic views of the city. No matter where you are seated, you get perfect 360 degree views of Seattle, sparkling just beyond the edge of your table. Don’t worry , you wont feel dizzy – at least not from the revolving. Your partner, however may have that effect on you 😉

Now the main question. Is it expensive? Yes. The place will put a slight dent in your pocket. But having said that, we celebrated special occasions here and it totally justified the prices.

The location and atmosphere is opulent, making it a perfect place to spend that remarkable evening. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Perhaps because we ordered wisely – mostly seafood. I realized seafood is their forte. Fresh from the Puget Sound, the fillet of fish was succulent and the crab cakes were scrumptious.

2. Cheer with the Cherry Blossoms:

Who says you have to fly half way across the globe to enjoy these gorgeous blossoms ?

Every Spring, Seattle breaks the spell of a grey winter and dazzles us with delicate pink blossoms. The tiny buds usually start emerging in February making it a perfect Valentine’s day idea for lovebirds in Seattle.
