Leavenworth, Washington  evokes images of Bavaria, Germany 

With charming wooden homes overflowing with vibrant flowers, Leavenworth evokes the romance of Bavaria. Nestled in America’s Alps, the village of Leavenworth resembles Germany in countless ways.

The quiet in the mountain air is punctuated with the soothing sound of horse drawn carriages and the far away sound of alphorns.

Grab an Apfelstrudel, a beer and close your eyes for a moment . Let the Bavarian spirit work it’s magic and transport you to Germany while being right here in the USA! 

2. Old Faithful, Wyoming is like Strokkur in Iceland : Places in USA that look like Europe

After watching mother nature’s gentle scenery, it is time to witness her violent beauty ! The Old Faithful Geyser in Wyoming looks and feels so much like Strokkur in Iceland.

Every 20 mins the geyser shoots  boiling water into the heavens just the way Stokkur in Iceland does.

The seductive curves of Tuscany’s hills have always captured human imagination. Napa Valley, USA not only has the exquisite wines to match Tuscany but also the luscious vineyards.
